Creating an event request


Through the Papervee platform, you can create multiple types of event requests. The default events in the system are:


  • Business Trip;
  • Leave of absence;


The administrators of the Papervee workspace can add other types of event requests to the system.


Creating the request on the events Page:


  1. Navigate to the Leave and Events page;
  2. Select the “Events” section from the top menu;
  3. Click the “New Request” button;
  4. In the modal that appears, select the type of event for which you wish to make a request;
  5. Choose the period for which you are creating the request;
  6. f the event requires specifying a time range, enter the start and end times;
  7. (optional) You can provide details about the reason for the request;
  8. If applicable, you can check if you want the weekend days (Saturday, Sunday) to be excluded from the event period;
  9. To complete, click the “Submit Request” button.


Each event request must be approved by a manager to take effect. Once you submit a request, it will automatically be sent to all managers who have the ability to approve the request. When the request is approved or rejected, you will be notified via a notification and an email, and the status of the event will reflect this.


An event request document will automatically be created in your “My Documents” page when the event request is made.


Editing an event request


Only event requests that have not yet been approved or rejected by a manager can be edited. If you change your mind about the details of an event, you can navigate to the Events page and next to the event, click on the edit button (pencil symbol). You have the option to edit all the details of the request, except for the type of event requested. After the modification, even the request document in “My Documents” will automatically be modified.


Deleting an event request


Only event requests that have not yet been approved or rejected by a manager can be deleted. If you wish to cancel an event request, you can navigate to the “Events” page and next to the event, click on the delete button (trash can symbol). The reason for the deletion must be provided. After deletion, even the request document in “My Documents” will be automatically deleted.
