Archiving a user

In various situations, you may need to archive user accounts in your Papervee workspace. For example, if an employee is no longer part of your company's team and you do not wish to keep their Papervee account active, you can archive it.


Before you follow the steps below, make sure you have the necessary permissions to manage users in your Papervee workspace. The Owner user and HR Manager users with access to company settings can manage other users.


  1. Navigate to the "Account Administration" area by clicking the navigation button in the top-right corner and pressing "Account Administration";
  2. Navigate to the "Users" section through the top menu of the platform;
  3. Next to the user you wish to archive, press the "Archive" button;
  4. If the user is a hierarchical and/or operational manager, their respective rights will transfer to another user. Choose the desired user in the dialog box;
  5. To complete, press "Archive User".


Archived users can be found on the same page in the "Archived Users" section. They can be reactivated through the unarchive function in this section, making their account active again.
