The "Overtime" page in manager mode is where you can manage everything related to employees' overtime hours in the workspace. This includes three main sections:

  • Main Overtime Calendar
  • Overtime Requests for Approval
  • Overtime Requests History

To access the overtime page, navigate to the "Work Schedule" page through the left-hand menu and access the "Overtime" page using the top menu.

Attention! To view the "Overtime" page as described on this page, ensure that you have switched the platform context to manager mode.

Managers accessing the overtime page will see data related to the users they manage. Managers with the Owner and HR Manager roles, having access to all users in the Papervee workspace, will see data for all these users. Managers who are employees but also operational managers of other employees will only see their respective employees.

Overtime Calendar

Information in this calendar can be filtered using the top filters. You can view information for a specific month. To select the desired month, you can use the left and right arrow buttons. The calendar can be filtered by entering an employee's name in the search bar. Additionally, by checking or unchecking the "Include external collaborators" condition, you can display or hide users marked as “external collaborators”.

Each box represents a day in the calendar, and colored boxes indicate days with overtime requests. The color of the box shows the status of the overtime request. Boxes containing an "info" symbol (circle with an 'i') indicate multiple overtime requests from the same employee on the same day.

Yellow color - represents an "in approval" overtime request. It can be approved or rejected by a manager.

Green color - represents an "approved" overtime request. It takes effect as an accepted telecommuting day but can be rejected by a manager.

Clicking on a day with overtime requests, you can see the following details for each request:

Date - The day the overtime hours are worked.

Hours requested - The number of overtime hours requested.

Compensation type - The type of compensation requested in exchange for working overtime hours.

Recorded Activity - This field appears when the user adds execution intervals for overtime hours and displays these intervals as well as the duration of the time intervals.

The last column of the calendar indicates the total overtime hours worked by an employee in the selected month. The total is calculated from approved overtime requests that have already recorded execution intervals.

Overtime Requests for Approval

The "requests for approval" section contains all overtime-related requests awaiting a manager's approval. The requests will appear in the central table, which contains the following columns:

Reason - shows the reason provided by the employee for the respective overtime request.

Actions - here you find buttons to approve or reject a request. Approving the request will formalize the requested overtime hours. Rejecting the request will delete it.

Overtime History

The "history" section contains the history of acted upon requests and their status in the selected month. This section includes all requests acted upon by a manager, including those rejected or deleted. The central table consists of the following columns:

Employee - shows the employee's name.
