The HR Manager Role

The HR Manager role is a role that can be assigned to any user in the Papervee workspace. This role comes with a basic set of rights and various optional rights sets. Below are the different rights sets that a user with the HR Manager role can receive.


Default Rights of Users with the HR Manager Role


Users with the HR Manager role will automatically have access to the "manager module," where they have automatic access to each employee in the workspace, regardless of whether or not there is an operational manager relationship between them. Without additional permissions, the HR Manager cannot manage the HR flows of the employees. They only have access to view reports, data, and documents. To manage flows, they must receive additional rights, which can be set when they receive the HR Manager role or can be edited later.


Additional Rights


Access to Company Settings


This additional rights set allows the HR Manager to access various settings of the Papervee modules and manage workspace settings. These rights do not give the user the right to manage subscriptions, payment methods, or Papervee invoices. Additionally, through these permissions, the HR Manager will be able to manage users and their roles in the workspace.


Upload Docs


This additional rights set allows the HR Manager to upload documents to the employees' accounts.


Download Docs


This additional rights set allows the HR Manager to download documents from the employees' accounts.


HR Flow


This additional rights set allows the HR Manager to manage all HR flows in the Papervee workspace. These include:


  • Inviting users to the workspace;
  • Creating, approving, and rejecting time records;
  • Creating, approving, and rejecting leave requests;
  • Creating, editing, and deleting leave schedules;
  • Setting, editing, and deleting work schedules;
  • Creating recurrence templates for the work schedule module;
  • Creating, approving, and rejecting telecommuting requests;
  • Creating, approving, and rejecting overtime requests;
  • Editing individual employee profiles;
  • Editing user settings and relationships between users;
  • Posting and deleting announcements on the Community page;
  • Uploading, downloading, and deleting documents uploaded to employees' accounts;
  • Adding, editing, and deleting template documents.


The HR Flow rights set automatically includes the Upload Docs and Download Docs sets.



Access to Contractual Data


This set of rights allows the HR Manager to access and modify the employee's contractual data, generate individual employment contracts and additional acts, and manage documents and templates.
