Notifications in the Papervee Mobile App

Created by Admin Papervee, Modified on Sat, 20 Jan at 3:08 AM by Admin Papervee

Notifications are short informative messages in the Papervee mobile app that help you stay informed about changes, approvals or rejections of requests, community announcements, and many other useful pieces of information. To see the latest notifications, click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the app or press the “More” menu button (three dots symbol).

In the “Notifications” section, you will see notifications in chronological order from the newest to the oldest.

Who receives notifications

There are two types of notifications: personal notifications and global notifications.

Notifications related to your requests, your documents, your work schedule, and your data will always be personal and can be viewed only by you, within your account.

Notifications that concern the entire team are global notifications and the entire team will receive them. Additionally, these are the notifications that the whole team can react to, and all members will see your reactions. Examples from this category include: a new announcement posted on the Community page, a change in an employee's role, the addition of a new employee to the Papervee workspace.

Mark a notification as read

If you wish to archive a notification so that it no longer appears in the new notifications history, you can click on the “Mark as read” link. The marked notification will disappear from the profile screen, or if you are on the Notifications page, it will no longer appear in the “Recently Received” section, but will move to the “Marked as Read” section.

The notifications page

The main notifications page can be accessed by clicking on the “See all notifications” link. This page has two sections. The default section is “Recently Received”, where you will see all notifications that have not yet been marked as read. The second section is “Marked as Read”. Here you will find an archive of all notifications that have been marked as read, in chronological order from the newest to the oldest.
