Adding an Overtime Request for Another Employee

To add a new overtime request for an employee, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate through the left-hand menu to the “Work Schedule” page.
  2. Navigate through the top menu to the “Overtime” page.
  3. In the main table, find the employee for whom you want to add the request and click on their name.
  4. You will be directed to the individual employee's page in the “Work Schedule” section. In the “Overtime” section, click the “Add Request” button.
  5. Fill out the form with the day, number of hours, type of compensation, and, if applicable, details.
  6. To finalize, click the “Submit Request” button.

Attention! This action will not generate a request. The new request will be added and automatically approved.

Approving or Rejecting Overtime Requests

Overtime requests can be approved or rejected from multiple locations:

Dashboard

On the “Dashboard” page in manager mode, you will find the quick approvals area. This area includes a table with overtime requests. To reject or approve a request in this area, you can use the corresponding buttons. The button with a checkmark symbol approves the request, and the button with an “X” symbol rejects it.

Main “Overtime” Page

On this page, you can approve or reject overtime requests by clicking on the colored boxes representing various requests. Clicking on them will open a modal that also presents “Approve” and “Reject” buttons.

“Requests for Approval” Section

In this section, you will see all the overtime requests that need to be acted upon by a manager.

To approve or reject an overtime request of another employee, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate through the left-hand menu to the “Work Schedule” page.
  2. Navigate through the top menu to the “Overtime” section.
  3. In the “Requests for Approval” section, next to the desired request, click the “Approve” button (checkmark symbol) or “Reject” button (X symbol).

By approving a request, the overtime request will take effect.

By rejecting a request, the overtime hours will be completely canceled, without the possibility of revising the rejection decision.

Attention!  A manager cannot delete the overtime request of another employee. They must act on the requests by rejecting or approving them.
