Time tracking page in the Papervee Mobile App


The time tracking page allows you to check and manage your recorded work sessions.


You can filter the information on this page using the filter button (symbolized by “three lines in a circle”). By pressing the filter button, you can select a custom period. The filter will be set by default to the current calendar month. All sections on this page will display information about to the period selected through the filter.


In the “Time recorded for the selected period” section, work sessions are summed up, providing a total working time based on the selected period.


In the history of records, you will find all recorded work sessions, grouped by calendar days. Each section represents a day. The elements present in these sections are:


  • The day and calendar date of the recording;
  • The total duration recorded and the total number of entries;
  • The first entry (symbolized by a “purple right arrow”);
  • The last exit (symbolized by a “black left arrow”).


By pressing a section, you can view all the entries for that day. Entries are marked as either work time entries (active time) or breaks.


Time tracking through the Papervee Mobile App


Clocking in for the workday can be done either through the Papervee mobile app or the web platform. The two are synchronized, meaning that once you start a work session on the Papervee mobile app, the session will also start on the web platform. Below are all the methods through which you can clock in and out using the Papervee mobile app.


Real-time tracking through the Papervee Mobile App


To start a work session through the Papervee mobile app, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate to the Dashboard page by pressing the “Papervee” symbol in the menu.
  2. Press the start button in the center of the screen (symbolized by a “start/play” icon).


When you press it, the work session will automatically begin and display the active time in real-time. If you wish to stop the current work session, press the stop button (symbolized by a “square in a circle/stop”). The current work session displayed in the Dashboard will reset, and the tracked interval will appear on the Time Tracking page.


Attention! You cannot end a session shorter than 1 minute!


QR Code time tracking through the Papervee Mobile App


If the workspace administrator requires clocking in through a QR code, it can only be done using the Papervee mobile app.


The Papervee workspace owner must display the QR code in a location accessible to all users of the Papervee workspace. If you cannot find the QR code, contact a manager or the workspace owner.


To clock in using the QR code, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate to the Dashboard page by pressing the “Papervee” symbol in the menu;
  2. Press the start button in the center of the screen (symbolized by a “start/play” icon);
  3. If it’s your first time using the QR function, the app will request permission to access your device's camera. Accept the access request;
  4. When the device's camera opens, aim it at the QR code. It will automatically read the valid code and start the clocking process;


To clock out, you need to scan the QR code again.


Time recording request through the Papervee Mobile App


If you forgot to clock in or if your company's policy does not require real-time clocking, you can create a time recording request. This request must be approved by a manager to take effect. Follow these steps to create a new request:


  1. Navigate to the “Time tracking” page (symbolized by a "clock" icon);
  2. Press the “Add time" button (symbolized by a “plus in a circle” icon);
  3. Fill in the day you wish to add a work session;
  4. Choose the entry and exit times;
  5. Complete the reason field. The information entered will be sent to the manager who will approve the request;
  6. To finalize, press the “Send Request” button.


The time tracking will appear in the time tracking history with a note that it is a pending request. Once a manager approves the request, it will take effect.
