Adding and Managing Leave and Event Requests

Adding a Leave Request for an Employee


To add a new leave request for an employee, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate through the left menu to the "Leaves and Events" page.
  2. In the main table, find the employee for whom you wish to add the request and click on their name.
  3. You will arrive at the individual page of the employee in the "Leaves" section. Click on the "New Request" button.
  4. Complete the form with the type of leave, the range of days, and (optionally) details about the request.
  5. To finalize, click the "Send Request" button.


Attention! This action will not generate a request. The new request will be added and approved automatically.



Adding an Event Request for an Employee


To add a new event request for an employee, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate through the left menu to the "Leaves and Events" page.
  2. In the main table, find the employee for whom you wish to add the request and click on their name.
  3. You will arrive at the individual page of the employee in the "Leaves" section. Navigate to the "Events" page using the top horizontal menu.
  4. Click on the "New Request" button.
  5. Complete the form with the type of event, the range of days and hours, and (optionally) add details about the request.
  6. To finalize, click the "Send Request" button.


Attention! This action will not generate a request. The new request will be added and approved automatically.


Approving or Rejecting Leave and Event Requests


Leave and event requests can be approved or rejected from multiple places:


Dashboard


On the "Dashboard" page in manager mode, you will find the quick approvals area. In this area, you will also find a table with leave requests and one with event requests. To reject or approve a leave or event in this area, you can use the respective buttons. The button with the "checkmark" symbol approves the request, and the button with the "X" symbol rejects the request.


Main "Leaves and Events" Page


On this page, you can approve or reject leaves and events by clicking on the boxes with abbreviations that represent the various requests. When clicking, a modal will appear that also presents "Approve" and "Reject" buttons.


"Requests for Approval" Section


In this section, you see all the leave and event requests that need to be acted upon by a manager.


To approve or reject a request of another employee, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate through the left menu to the "Leaves and Events" page.
  2. Navigate through the top menu to the "Requests for Approval" section.
  3. Next to the desired request, press the "Approve" button (checkmark symbol) or "Reject" button (X symbol).


By approving a request, the leave or event will take effect and be taken into account in all reports of the Papervee workspace.


By rejecting a request, the leave or event will be completely canceled, without the possibility of revising the rejection decision.


Attention! A manager cannot delete another employee's leave or event request. They must act on the requests by rejecting or approving them.
