Uploading, viewing and deleting documents

The "My Documents" page is where you can view and manage your company-related documents. At the top, you'll see the main document folders, and on the left side of the screen, you'll find the categories of documents available in the selected folder. These include:


Request documents:

  • Vacation;
  • Sick leaves;
  • Parental leaves;
  • Unpaid leaves;
  • Other types of leaves;
  • Event requests;
  • Remote work requests;
  • Overtime requests.


Contract documents

  • Contract;
  • Addendums;
  • Resignations;
  • Pay slips.


Certificates:

  • General Certificate.


Other documents

  • Documents uploaded by me;
  • Other documents;
  • Personalized documents categories.


Documents uploaded to your account can be of 3 types:


  1. System-generated Documents - These are created through various Papervee platform workflows. Editing or deleting them is also done through platform workflows, so from the "My Documents" page, they can only be viewed and downloaded. An example of this type of document is various requests for leave, telework, or overtime.
  2. Documents Uploaded by Managers - These documents have been uploaded by a manager to your Papervee account. You cannot edit or delete these documents. Only users with a manager role can manage these documents. They can be downloaded. Examples include your employment contract, payslips, or various annexes and additional acts.
  3. Documents Uploaded by You - These are documents you have uploaded in the "Documents uploaded by me" category. These are your personal documents that you can download and delete.


Uploading a Document


In the "Documents uploaded by me" category, you can upload any document you want to associate with your Papervee account. Additionally, in custom-created categories and subcategories, managers can allow employees to upload documents. Users in the Papervee Startup subscription workspace are limited to 200 MB of storage space per user. Business or Enterprise subscription users have unlimited storage space. The maximum size limit per document is 15 MB. Documents can be of any type (PDF, DOCX, JPEG, etc.).


To upload a document, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate to the "My Documents" page.
  2. Select the "Documents uploaded by me" category.
  3. Click the "Upload a Document" button.
  4. Enter the desired name for the document.
  5. Click the "Choose" button and select the desired document or drag the file into the indicated field.
  6. To finalize the upload, click the "Add" button.



Downloading a Document


Any document in your Papervee account can be downloaded. To download a document, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate to the "My Documents" page.
  2. Select the category the document belongs to by clicking the corresponding section on the left.
  3. Next to the desired document, click the download button (downward arrow symbol).


Deleting a Document


You can only delete documents you have uploaded. Attention! Once you delete a document, it cannot be recovered through the Papervee platform.


To delete a document, follow these steps:


  1. Navigate to the "My Documents" page.
  2. Select the "Documents uploaded by me" category.
  3. Next to the desired document, click the delete button (trash can symbol).
  4. In the modal that appears, confirm your desire to delete the document.
