Notifications are short informative messages on the Papervee platform that keep you updated about changes, approvals or rejections of requests, community announcements, and many other useful pieces of information. To view the most recent notifications, click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Papervee platform.

In the modal that opens on the right side, you will see notifications in chronological order, from the newest to the oldest.

Who Receives Notifications

There are two types of notifications: personal notifications and global notifications.

Personal Notifications: These are related to your requests, documents, work schedule, and personal data. They are always personal and will only appear in your account.

Global NotificationsThese concern the entire team and will be received by the whole team. These are notifications to which the entire team can react, and all members will see your reactions. Examples from this category include a new announcement posted on the Community page, a change in an employee's role, or adding a new employee to the Papervee workspace.

Reacting to a Notification

If you want to express your reaction to a notification, you can use the emoji reaction feature. Click the emoji in the top right corner of the notification and choose the emoji that best matches your reaction.

Global notifications will display the reactions of the entire team, so if you choose to react, your colleagues will see it.

Marking a Notification as Read

If you want to archive a notification so that it no longer appears in the new notifications history, you can click the “Mark as Read” link. The marked notification will disappear from the profile modal on the right side of the screen, or if you are on the Notifications page, it will no longer appear in the “Newly Arrived” section but will move to the “Marked as Read” section.

Notifications Page

The main notifications page can be accessed by clicking the “See all notifications” link. This page has two sections. The default is the “New Notifications” section, where you will see all notifications that have not yet been marked as read. The second section is “Marked as Read,” where you will see an archive of all notifications that have been marked as read, in chronological order from the newest to the oldest.
