Security Settings

Security settings can be found on the “My Account” page, in the “Security Settings” section. To access this section, click on your profile picture, access “My Account” via the text link, and use the left submenu to access the “Security Settings” section.

Changing Your Password

The “Password” section will indicate the complexity of your current password and the date of its last change. If you wish to change the current password of your Papervee account, follow these steps:

1. Click the “Change Password” button.
2. Enter your current password in the corresponding field.
3. Enter the new password in the respective field and in the confirmation field.
4. To finalize the password change, click the “Change Password” button.

The password used must meet the platform's minimum security criteria. Therefore, it must contain at least 8 characters, including an uppercase letter. The following criteria are mandatory:

• Minimum 8 characters
• At least one uppercase letter
• At least one lowercase letter
• At least one digit
• At least one symbol

The colored line will guide you in creating a secure password, with three states:

red - weak password

yellow - medium password

green - strong password

Activating Two-Step Authentication

To ensure maximum security of your Papervee account, it is recommended to activate two-step authentication. This security measure works through Google Authenticator. To complete the activation steps, ensure you have downloaded and installed the Google Authenticator app on an Android or iOS device.

To activate two-step authentication, follow the steps below:

• Navigate to your profile page by clicking your profile picture in the top right corner of the Papervee platform and selecting “My Account”.
• Navigate to the “Security Settings” section.
• Activate the “Google Authenticator” authentication method.
• Scan the QR code using the Google Authenticator app. If you cannot scan the code, alternatively, you can enter the installation code at the bottom of the page.
• Enter the verification code from Google Authenticator in the corresponding field on the Papervee platform.
• To finalize, click the “Set up authentication with the app” button.
