When inviting a new user, you will need to set a hierarchical manager for them. The hierarchical manager relationship reflects the hierarchical subordination among employees within the company's organizational chart. In this context, to accurately construct the digital organizational chart through Papervee, each employee will be assigned a hierarchical manager to whom they are directly subordinate.
Practically, this relationship is used solely to build the organizational chart, which can be found on the "Community" page in the "Organigram" section. There are no other Papervee functions that are affected by the selection of the hierarchical manager.
If an employee is not subordinate to any other employee in the company, you can select the option "The employee will be their own hierarchical manager". With this option selected, the employee will not have a superior in the company's organizational chart.
